Subject Information

One of the best ways to open doors in life is to improve your reading, writing and communication skills. Studying English helps you express yourself more confidently in all sorts of situations. Having good reading, writing and communication skills is key to getting a good job, succeeding when studying other subjects, and coping well with everyday life. It’s a big boost for parents and grandparents who want to help children do well at school too.

Before beginning your course, we will check which level would be the right place for you to start. If your first language is not English, you will need to achieve a full Level 1 in ESOL before joining an English course.

All our teachers are experts in their subject, they have many years’ experience of teaching and will make learning this subject fun and relevant.

The good news is that you will not have to pay for your English course if you do not yet have a GCSE grade 9-4 (A*- C) or above in this subject. You will not have to pay exam and assessment fees either.

Deciding to improve your English is a great choice that will bring positive changes to your life and to the lives of those around you. We specialise in teaching adults and understand the different ways that can help you learn - we are here to help you all the way.

Our students tell us that the classes here are welcoming and supportive, and that gaining qualifications in English has made a big difference to them.
