Our Summer Open Day will take place on Saturday 21 June, between 10am and 2pm at AEW, City Learning Quarter, Foyer Building, Old Hall Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 3AU.
Join us and discover a wide range of high-quality courses designed to inspire and empower you. Meet our friendly tutors, get expert advice, and find the perfect course to help you take the next step. Whether it’s towards further study, employment, a promotion, or improved wellbeing. 

Subjects include Access to Higher Education, English, Maths, CELTA, Health and Social Care, Computer and Digital Skills, Childcare and Teaching, Cake Decorating, Arts Crafts and Creative Media, Floristry and much more.

SEND Open Event will take place on Thursday 22 May 2025 between 1:30pm and 6pm at AEW, The Maltings, Herbert Street Wolverhampton, WV1 1NQ.
We welcome you to our event and look forward to showing you what we have on offer from September 2025.
During the event you will be able to view the facilities, meet the teachers and support workers. Buy a drink or snack from our student-led ‘pop up’ café, visit our student craft fair and find out what students on the Supported Internship and Supported Employment programmes have achieved so far this year. At the event, you will be able to meet staff who have been supporting our students on placement this year. Come along with your questions and ideas for the programme moving forward, and we’ll be happy to speak to you.

We will be showcasing our course offer for September, ideal for anyone with a learning disability. Come along, view the facilities, meet the teachers and current students. Take part in fun learning activities, buy a drink or snack from our student-led ‘pop up’ café, and visit our student craft fair.

Courses on offer include:
Life Skills English, Maths and Digital Skills – students learn essential everyday key skills for their personal lives and potential voluntary / paid employment.
Life Skills Cookery – students learn the basics of simple food preparation, food safety, the safe use of tools, and important skills helping students to move closer to living independently.
Everyday Life Skills – students focus on exploring the community, citizenship, independent travelling and much more about what it is to live in the UK today.
Keep Learning and Move On courses - students focus on taking the next steps towards independence and work-ready skills.
Supported Internships / Supported Employment - has been successfully used for decades as a personalised model for supporting people with significant disabilities to secure and retain paid employment.
