A job as a nursery or childcare practitioner could be just what you’re looking for if you are interested in exploring a career working with children. Our courses will provide you with the knowledge of basic child development and the skills to work with children.
Qualifications in this subject will help you develop and practise the skills required to work with children. You will engage in learning and develop the personal skills and attributes that are key for successful progress in working life.

All our teachers are experts in their subject, they have many years’ experience of teaching and will make learning this subject fun.

We offer childcare courses from Entry to Level 2. You will need a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for Level 2 and Level 3 courses.

There may be options to take additional work-ready qualifications including first aid and food hygiene alongside your main course, just ask your teacher for details.

These courses will help you to think creatively, solve problems and provide you with transferable skills useful for everyday life and for any job. Childcare related jobs may include play worker, nursery worker, play therapist, nursery manager, nanny, au pair and much more.
