Always wanted to go to university but you do not have the qualifications. Enrol on a one-year Access to Higher Education course and this time next year you could be at university studying for the career of your dreams.
Pathways are currently being offered in Care, Business and Retail, Sewing and Fashion and Hospitality.
Science
This pathway is ideal if you want to work in science as a research scientist, as a laboratory technician, in environment health or as a bio technologist.
Public Services and Policing
If you want to work in any of our public services including, the police, civil service, fire service or the armed forces then this pathway could be for you. If you are particularly interested in working in the police force, we have a partnership with West Midlands Police where you could progress straight onto a Level 5 Apprenticeship.
Come to Adult Education Wolverhampton because:
- you will gain a qualification valued by universities and a degree may help you to rise up the career ladder quicker
- you will develop the knowledge and skills needed in your subject area.
- you will learn in an adult environment with support from our student services team.
- if you live in the WMCA or if it is your first full level 3 the course will be free. Alternatively, you can apply for an Advance Learner Loan that will be cancelled if you go onto university. There will also be help to enable you to learn e.g., resources, travel, childcare, laptop loan.

- be given a FREE Microsoft Office 365 account.

- on the science pathway you will have the opportunity to do laboratory experiments at Wolverhampton University in their cutting-edge facilities, as part of the course
- have access to Wolverhampton Library and all the resources it contains
