This Entry Level 3 course is designed to help adults strengthen their English skills and prepare for further study, employment, or everyday communication.
It is ideal for students who already have basic English skills and want to improve their reading, writing, speaking, and listening to a more independent level.
The course focuses on practical, real-life communication to help you use English confidently in a range of situations, including work and further learning.
The course covers key areas such as:
- Reading and understanding a range of texts and information
- Writing clear sentences and short paragraphs for different purposes
- Speaking confidently in discussions and expressing ideas clearly
- Listening carefully and responding appropriately
- Completing forms and writing simple documents (e.g. emails, messages)
- Using English effectively in everyday and workplace situations
Students must be aged 19 or over.
To join this course, you should:
- Be aged 19 or over
- Have Entry 2 English skills (or equivalent) or ESOL Level 1.
- Be willing to take part in discussions and activities
- Attend regularly and practise your skills
No formal qualifications are required.
