• Level 2 is considered equivalent to GCSE Grade 4/C, making it accepted by apprenticeship standards, employers, FE colleges and many universities.

• Students must be aged 19 or over.
• You must have Level 1 Functional Skills in English or working at a higher level but have not achieved the Level 2 qualification.
• Initial assessment will help identify individual starting points and support needs.
