This course is designed for adults who want to improve their wellbeing, relaxation, and physical health through gentle yoga practice. It is ideal for students who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, low mood, or low confidence and would benefit from a calm, supportive environment.
The course focuses on improving both physical and mental wellbeing through guided movement, breathing techniques, and relaxation. No previous experience is needed, and activities are adapted to suit individual ability.
You will explore a range of wellbeing-focused activities, including:
- Gentle yoga postures and movement
- Breathing techniques (pranayama)
- Relaxation and mindfulness
- Stretching and flexibility exercises
- Managing stress through movement
- Developing a personal wellbeing routine
- You must be aged 19 or over
- No previous experience or qualifications required
- An interest in yoga
- A willingness to take part in practical sessions and group activities
- Regular attendance and participation
- Improve mental health and emotional wellbeing
- Reduce stress, anxiety, and tension
- Increase flexibility, balance, and mobility
- Build confidence and self-awareness
- Support relaxation and better sleep
- Meet others in a calm and supportive environment
- You will learn in a calm, supportive environment through:
- Teacher-led guided yoga sessions
- Step-by-step demonstrations
- Gentle, inclusive exercises adapted to your needs
- Breathing and relaxation techniques

- All activities are designed to be accessible and suitable for beginners.
There are no exams.
Your progress will be supported through:
