Course Requirements

  • You must be aged 19 or over.
  • Good level of English (minimum of Level 2 or above) to meet the demands of written assignments.
  • A DBS check is required for working in a school setting.
  • You must have access to a work placement or employment in a school (typically primary, secondary or SEN) to complete assessed tasks.
  • You must have at least one year’s experience in a school prior to starting this course that includes the National Curriculum.
  • Commitment to completing assignments, observations and placement hours.
