  • ESOL Level 1 is designed for students who can already communicate confidently at Entry 3 and want to develop more advanced English skills for work, further education and everyday life.
  • The course follows the ESOL Skills for Life (Level 1) qualification, which is based on the National Standards for Adult Literacy and the Adult ESOL Core Curriculum.

Course Requirements

  • You must be aged 19 or over.
  • Suitable for students who have completed ESOL Entry 3 or have equivalent English ability.
  • A short initial assessment will ensure you join the correct level.
  • Regular attendance and commitment to completing tasks are essential.
