World Mental Health Day 2023 is 10 October 2023
Every year we celebrate World Mental Health Day on 10 October. The theme for 2023, set by the World Foundation of Mental Health, is ‘Mental health is a universal human right’.
World Mental Health Day is about raising awareness of mental health and driving positive change for everyone’s mental health.
Adult Education Wolverhampton continues to promote the importance of engaging in education and the ways in which it can help to improve mental health and wellbeing. The effect of taking part in group activities to learn new skills and to update existing skills can be really positive. If you think that taking part in a learning activity could help you, check out our website www.aes.wolverhampton.gov.uk to find out what’s on offer.
During this year’s World Mental Health Day campaign supported by the World Health Organisation, efforts are being made to encourage you to highlight positive stories as part of your own activities, as an inspiration to others. If you have a positive story to tell please get in touch by email
