Find out about university options at Higher Education Fair

Adult Education Wolverhampton will be hosting a Higher Education Fair aimed at adult learners and members of the public who want to find out more about going to university.

It is taking place at Adult Education Wolverhampton’s Foyer Building, Old Hall Street, on Thursday 23rd May 2024 from 1pm to 5.30pm with representatives of universities from across the West Midlands, Staffordshire and Worcestershire in attendance.

Visitors will be able to learn more about different university courses and their entrance requirements, how to apply for courses and get information on costs, grants, bursaries and financial support for travel and childcare.

There will also be information about specific programmes that can help people make the step up to university, such as Adult Education Wolverhampton’s Access to Higher Education programmes that will be starting in September 2024.

Councillor Jacqui Coogan, the City of Wolverhampton Council’s Cabinet Member for Education, Skills and Work, said: “If you’ve ever wanted to go to university, but aren’t sure how you could make it happen, please come along to Adult Education Wolverhampton’s Higher Education Fair and find out about what the region’s universities could offer you.”

Adult Education Wolverhampton Plan for the Pinch team invites you to its cost-of-living Multiply event on Thursday 23rd May 1pm to 5.30pm at its Old Hall Street venue.

You will find out about courses to help you budget, manage your money better and save on energy bills. Also, at the event will be organisations from around Wolverhampton offering advice on cooking on a budget, money management, saving on energy bills and much more.
