On Thursday, 3 July, Adult Education Wolverhampton took part in its annual celebration of learning for the 114 Life Skills students studying since September 2024.

Our courses focus on what students can do and not what they cannot. This year, students have taken part in lots of activities aimed at challenging them to become more independent; to make friends, to develop relationships; to get to know their community; to maintain and improve good health and wellbeing, and move closer to employment or volunteering.

Alison Hinds, Director of Children’s Services, and Anna Place, Deputy Head of Service, attended to hand out the certificates.

AEW would like to praise all the students and staff involved this year and thank parents and carers for supporting them in their day-to-day activities.
