ESOL for Work Pathway

Learning about the types of jobs available in the industry is a crucial part of our ESOL for Work pathways. Over the past few weeks, our Business and Care students have been hearing from local employers and previous students who have been sharing their experiences of the sectors, providing information on the skills and qualities needed as well as encouraging our students to keep going with their studies. Students were able to ask questions that they had prepared to find out more whilst also practicing their English.

Our ESOL for Work programmes were introduced last year and offer students the chance to continue developing their English whilst also working towards a vocational qualification in Business or Care. There is also the opportunity for students to receive career and education information, advice and guidance.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to visit our classes to talk to students.

Applications are still open for our latest ESOL for Work courses starting in February.
