AEW Turns Orange
Orange Wolverhampton is our city’s contribution to the United Nations annual ‘Orange the World’ campaign. It is 16 days of action to end violence against women. It is held from 25/11/25 (International day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) ending on 10/12/25 (UN Human Rights Day).
At AEW we proudly supported the 10th annual orange campaign to raise awareness of gender-based violence primarily, but not exclusively, against women and girls.
In recognition, the staff proudly wore the orange awareness ribbons. Posters, information leaflets and a large display board in the foyer highlighted the cause giving information to all on where and how to obtain help if needed. These were supported by digital signage throughout the college offering further information for both students and staff. The free lip balms and nail files were especially popular!
To further support the cause, our floristry dept and students decorated a striking Christmas tree in Orange to compliment the information board, sporting the orange ribbons, bookmarks and pens.
AEW hopes that by raising awareness and supporting Orange Wolverhampton, lives can be changed.
