Adult Education Wolverhampton works with a wide range of community organisations and venues. Taking learning into local communities we fulfil our ethos to widen participation and open up access to learning for as many residents as possible in the most deprived areas and those with the most need.
Several of our community stakeholders or supply chain partners based in three of the most deprived areas of Wolverhampton are funded to deliver English, ESOL, Maths and Digital Skills to students in those areas, reaching students AEW would not be able to engage with otherwise.
Some of the organisations and venues we work with include:
Gatis Community Space – BSL courses.
Low Hill Nursery – Childcare courses.
City Libraries – Digital Skills courses.
Hope Centre, Newhampton Arts Centre, Bob Jones Community Hub, United Reform Church - ESOL courses.
Graiseley Strengthening Family Hub, Low Hill Strengthening Family Hub, Bingley Family Hub, Rocket Pool Family Hub, Children’s Village V, Eastfield Family Hub, Dove Family Hub, Whitmore Reans Family Hub, Hope Centre, and the Old School Building – Family Learning courses.
Wednesfield Sikh Temple – Life in the UK courses for ESOL and new arrivals.
