Teaching Assistants

If you are interested in training to support children in the classroom, we offer a range of Teaching Assistant courses from Level 1 to Level 4.

These qualifications will provide you with the skills and knowledge to support teaching and learning in mainstream schools and colleges.

Students on Level 2, 3 and 4 courses will need to have a voluntary work placement or be employed in a school.

You will be invited for an informal interview and a skills check to make sure you are on the right course at the right level. You will also need a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS).

Call into Student Services in The Foyer Building, St George’s Parade, WV2 1AZ to talk discreetly about any requirements you may have.
