Time to talk day - 4 February 2021

Help AEW to celebrate and promote Time to Talk Day on Thursday 4 February 2021.

In the middle of lockdown number 3 there has never been a greater need to make contact with other people, whether that's texting a friend or just chatting to a colleague you know will be on their own or is struggling with their mental health. AEW is encouraging you to have a conversation. Something as small as a chat can make all the difference to someone’s life. Talking about mental health doesn’t have to be awkward, so make 4th February the day you make a difference to someone else’s life.

Our Like Minds courses are devoted to helping improve your mental health, providing you with an opportunity to reconnect with others in a similar situation.

Hannah Kelly started her learning journey with Adult Education on the Like minds course and has since gone on to start her own small creative business. Hannah says “it gave me a safe space where others who struggled with anxiety and other medical issues could support each and learn from one another.”
