Community Interpreting

Do you have a full Level 1 in ESOL or English? Are you interested in Community Interpreting?

The course will run on Thursday afternoons from January to July 2020.

What are the benefits of this course?

  • You will learn about the sectors where interpreters may be required to work
  • You will learn about the role of the Community Interpreter

How will I learn?

You will build up a portfolio of evidence that covers all the assessment criteria

Course requirements
Full Level 1 in ESOL or English (speaking and listening, reading and writing)
You will be asked to complete an application form for the course

What qualification will I get?
Ascentis Level 1 Award in Understanding Community Interpreting

Course fees
The course fee is £285, but may be free if you are in receipt of some means tested benefits or are on a low income
