Life Skills Open Days

If you have a learning disability join us on Tuesday 9 April 10:00 - 15:00 at Old Hall Street or Thursday 11 April 10:00 - 15:00 at the Maltings to find out what we can offer you from September 2019.

Meet students, talk to teachers and support workers, view facilities, buy from our hand-made crafts stall (items inspired by PRIDE - LGBT themes and pride in Wolverhampton) and in join in one of our ‘have a go’ activities.

Our life skills courses will give you the opportunity to:

  • learn practical skills
  • develop your communication skills
  • learn to work in a team
  • learn how to make choices
  • improve your levels of concentration and
  • problem solve

Work towards pre-employability type activities including volunteering and setting up a mini enterprise.

Using English and maths well is an important part of independent living and these subjects will be embedded into your learning.
