Want to work in Italy for 2-6 months?

A taste of work and life in Italy this spring

Adult Education Wolverhampton is running the highly- praised programme fully funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ scheme, giving adult students of all ages the opportunity to learn new skills and have a taste of living and working in Italy.

More than 40 people from Wolverhampton have already benefitted from the experience on a wide range of work placements, including nurseries, garages, fashion, restaurants, design studios, health spas, schools and charities.

Living the Italian way is all part of the experience. “I loved the food, the people and the places we visited” said Jordan. “I believe the experience helped my CV stand out and has been helpful in getting me a job in media back here in Wolverhampton. It’s an opportunity not to be missed.”

Siman’s placement was as a teaching assistant near Lake Iseo, Brescia. "This is the best experience and I wouldn't have missed it for the world. I love working with the friendly staff and children at my placement and I'm learning so much. Life here is so different and it's fun learning to speak the language."

Adult Education Wolverhampton is currently encouraging anyone who is enthusiastic about learning and keen to gain work experience abroad to come and talk about this opportunity.

Placements are in north Italy and last from 2 up to 6 months, taking place between February and July 2018. Participants will receive funding from Erasmus Plus to cover the cost of their flights, accommodation and living expenses while on the placement. Before going on placement students attend preparation sessions at our city centre site including an introduction to basic Italian.
