Student Spotlight

Adult Education has helped me a lot. It has sharpened my floristry skills and has given me the confidence to believe in myself and my abilities.

After leaving school I trained and worked at a nursery then when on to work in retail.

After being made redundant for the second time not knowing where to turn I popped into a city centre florists to ask for voluntary work, within a week I was working part time and loving my new job.

I loved working with flowers and creating beautiful displays so to better my chances to secure a career in floristry I started looking for a qualification. A couple of people I know recommended Adult Education Wolverhampton as a great place to learn. I looked online and found a level 1 qualification. The course is great and being an evening class it fitted perfectly around my job.

Adult Education has helped me a lot. It has sharpened my floristry skills and has given me the confidence to believe in myself and my abilities. After finishing the Level 1 qualification I continued to my level 2 qualification, I want to promote myself as a florist and hopefully one day venture into my own business. I would recommend Adult Education to anyone who wants to learn new skills and better themselves.
