Rebecca Duroe – Life Skills Cookery

I would recommend Adult Education it’s a great place to learn and develop independence.

I first came to the Malting’s on the recommendation of friends who were already attending life skills classes at Adult Education.

I have previously attended classes elsewhere but wanted the opportunity to try new things and learn new skills. Cookery was something I really wanted to try and Adult Education had the facilities to suite me as I am a wheel chair user.

I now attend Cookery, Jewellery Making and Art and Crafts classes.

The staff here are great and know how to motivate me, they are keen to help me progress and will always adapt classes to meet my specific needs. I have recently attended a focus group for Adult Education and felt like my comments really mattered. I personally feel I have made good progress during my time at Adult Education.

I would recommend Adult Education it’s a great place to learn and develop independence.
Next year I am planning to continue developing my cookery skills and progress on to an IT class….Adult Education just has so much to offer.
