"My BSL class is fun and an excellent way to progress on to university."

“I have recently finished studying for my A’ levels and wanted to progress on to the next step so decided to take a British Sign Language qualification (BSL). One of my good friends is deaf so I have been using BSL since the age of 15. BSL is an alternative way of communicating and I think that it’s really important to be able to communicate on all levels.

I have studied and passed Level 1, am currently studying Level 2 and plan to go on to university to study Deaf Studies and Social Policy. My BSL class is fun and an excellent way to progress on to university. My ultimate goal is to pursue a career using BSL.”
