"The Adult Education Service offered me the flexibility to study around my commitments, and the environment was reassuring and helped me to overcome my anxieties."

“I had always wanted to enter a career that supported others but did not know where to start and life just kept getting in the way! My daughter has complex special needs so it was difficult to balance my family and the pursuit of my education.

The Adult Education Service offered me the flexibility to study around my commitments, and the environment was reassuring and helped me to overcome my anxieties. I have now successfully completed the Access to Higher Education Diploma in Social Sciences and I progressed on to university to study Special Needs Education and Inclusion in September 2015. I would like to offer special thanks to the tutors for their guidance and support, and a massive thanks for helping me succeed.”
