John Lock

I have studied for many years with The Adult Education Service. I have previously studied Woodwork and English Level 1. In 2006 I took a break from the Service and did a course called Country Start at Wobaston College. There I learnt how to look after the animals, cookery, gardening and farming, and after the course I returned back to the Service.
I am studying pottery on a Monday morning and all day on a Tuesday. I feel happy when I am in my class and during my time here I have made new friends and I enjoy having something to do. English and Pottery are my favourite classes. I have recently made a chimney pot and my English course has helped me to write about how I have made it, which has improved my memory.
I would say to anyone thinking of coming to the Adult Education Service that it is good fun, and the tutor has good parties on the last lesson of each term and it's nice to learn something new.
My future hope is to open my own pottery shop and sell what I have made at pottery fairs.
