It is important to explore different options available to meet the costs of your course and you may wish to contact www.moneyadviceservice.org.uk to obtain relevant independent financial information.

  • Aged 19 or over and thinking about further education and thinking about studying a full Level 3 qualification?
  • Act quickly to qualify for a special offer to get your course for free. To qualify you must be aged between 19-23 and this will be your first full level 3 or above.

Advanced Learner Loan

You may qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan. These loans help you to pay the fees charged by colleges and training organizations. Most learners aged 19 and over, studying at Level 3 to 6, will qualify for these loans from the UK government. It’s easy to apply, your household income isn’t taken into account and there’s no credit check.

If you are thinking about studying an Access to Higher Education Diploma course, as long as you go on to complete your higher education course at some point after completing your Access course, your loan will be written off. If you don’t go on to complete a higher education course you won’t have to pay anything back until you are earning over £25,000 per year.

The online calculator will give you an estimate of your monthly payments and the interest you'll be charged based on your expected salary after you've completed your course.
