Need the skills to get a job? A Steps to employment programme could be for you!

Study a range of skills relevant to today’s job market and self-employment whilst you gain the skills to progress onto further learning.

The Steps to pre-vocational range of Entry Level 3 programmes run for seven weeks at a time throughout the year and attendance is required for two to three days each week.

These programmes will provide you with the opportunity to continue developing your English and maths skills whilst studying subjects such as Childcare, Health & Social Care and Office Skills. You may then like to move onto a level 1 qualification or gain employment.

 

Take the first steps on your way to a career in a variety of job roles whilst you:

  • Increase your confidence and social skills
  • Improve your English and maths skills whilst on your course
  • Experience working as a team
  • Visit different work places
  • Receive careers advice and guidance 
  • Much more…

 

All of the options will help you to find out what working in these types of jobs is all about, gain English and maths qualifications and study Life and Living units which will prepare you for employment.
