Mental health awareness week

As part of our on-going commitment to tackling mental health stigma, suicide and discrimination, The City of Wolverhampton Council is supporting Mental health awareness week. Taking place from 15th May to 22nd May, this is a week where everyone is encouraged to help raise awareness for mental health.

Mental health problems affect 1 in 4 people every year, and 9 in 10 say they have faced negative treatment from others as a result.

Connect, be active, take notice, give and keep learning. Adult Education Wolverhampton offers a full range of courses, many of which can increase self-confidence and empower students to make changes that benefit their health and wellbeing.

Come to our open day on Saturday 18th June to see how we can help you.
