Don’t take our word for it! This is what some of our current and past students have said:

Hannah Bagley 2015

“I hated school and left with few qualifications. Since having a child and seeing the work of occupational therapists I decided that I needed a new direction. I completed the Access to Health course which gave me the skills including English and maths to gain a place at Coventry University to study for a degree in occupational therapy.”

Poppy Patrick 2014

“The Access to Nursing course has been everything I could have hoped for, freedom to learn and work without fear or intimidation and gave me the feeling of being in control of my future. I am now doing a Bachelor of Science degree in adult nursing at the University of Birmingham.”

Sally Smith (MBPsS) 2011

“I had this wild dream that I wanted to do a psychology degree at Wolverhampton University but never imagined that I would achieve the results required to get there. In 2014 I began my professional doctorate in counselling psychology. The seeds of hope were sewn in the support and encouragement I received from tutors on the Access to Social Science course.”

Jimmy Lannon 2010

“The Access to Art course gave me the opportunity to live again. It got me out of the house and gave me back a passion to learn and the opportunity to get on. I feel I have learned so much and now I have achieved my dream. I have completed my BA Hons in Fine Art and am now studying for an MA at Wolverhampton University. It’s amazing.”

Graham Merrick 2010

“I hated school and left with few qualifications. Since having a child and seeing the work of occupational therapists I decided that I needed a new direction. I completed the Access to Health course which gave me the skills including English and maths to gain a place at Coventry University to study for a degree in occupational therapy.”
