Are you interested in a career in business administration?

The Adult Education Service offers a wide range of courses to help you to progress onto the career of your choice. Places are still available on the following :
 
Business Administration Level 1 and 2 and Text Processing (Business Professional)
 
Business Administration Level 1 and 2
The Level 1 Award and Level 2 Certificate in Administration (Business Professional) provide you with an introduction to the key aspects of working office skills and are delivered through a programme of study which also includes; basic Text Processing, English and maths, depending on your existing qualifications. Time commitment for the full programme is two days per week, English and maths can be studied on a variety of days and times to suit the individual. Students should discuss their existing skills and qualifications with our Tutor to establish their own individual programme requirements.

Course places still available on Wednesday afternoons and Thursday mornings

Text Processing (Business Professional)
Students can study Text Processing skills through the Level 1 Award and Certificate and the Level 2 Text Processing (Business Professional) Certificate qualifications; please note units are only available to the unemployed who are in receipt of JSA or ESA (work related) benefits. Qualifications can be made up of units including: Text production, Word Processing, Medical and Legal Text processing, Audio Transcription and Business Presentations. Our Tutor will be happy to discuss your individualised programme requirements with you if you already have skills or have previously achieved units in this area of study. You will also be given more information on course times and costs as you may be required to attend two sessions per week depending on the size of your qualification.
