Life Skills (Learning Disabilities)

“Life Skills” classes for adults with learning disabilities aim to develop independent living and life skills whilst studying a practical subject.

In some subjects you will have the opportunity to gain a qualification for the achievement of personal, social and practical skills for use in everyday life. You will be encouraged to work on your own although support will be given when and where needed.

Develop personal and practical skills whilst the use of number and development of language skills will be seamlessly integrated in your classes.

Participation on our courses can increase your self-confidence and empower you to make changes that benefit your health and wellbeing, working on hand & eye coordination whilst developing sensory skills involving touch and smell.
