Welcome from the Head Of Service

Welcome

What are our aims?

We aim to inspire the people of Wolverhampton with our high quality courses. We want you to get the lifelong learning habit and reap the benefits that learning new skills brings. Some courses are designed to help you get a job, become self-employed or get on at work. While others offer opportunities to improve your mental health and general well-being or improve your confidence on-line, become a volunteer, help your children with their school work or be more active in your community. With hundreds of courses on offer we hope you’ll find one that fits in with your personal goals and interests. We pride ourselves on our very personal and supportive approach, and on being very focussed on helping you to progress and achieve success.

High success rates

We are one of the top performing adult education services in the country. Our overall success rate, on courses leading to qualifications, currently stands at 90%, which is 6% above the national average. At our last full Ofsted inspection, the overall quality of our provision was rated as “Outstanding”. In the most recently published results of FE Choices (the national learner satisfaction survey) we achieved very high ratings, especially for quality of teaching, the support available, and the respect learners are shown.

Fiananical support

With so many demands on our finances, you’ll be pleased to know that you may be eligible for fee waivers, discounts and financial support to help with course and exam fees and other costs. We continue to keep our fees as low as possible.

What's on offer?

Please have a look at the wide range of courses on offer. Our staff team will be pleased to answer your queries and help you choose the course that is right for you.

We wish you every success and enjoyment in your chosen course of study.
