The curriculum area of social care and staff training is a new curriculum area within Wolverhampton Adult Education Service (WAES). It became part of WAES as of 1st January 2007 and has since been integrating into the service.

We provide Social care specific training and qualifications, along with Health and Safety training to staff within the Adults and community directorate and also our partners within the Wolverhampton Primary Care Trust and independent and voluntary social care sector providers within the City. We also commission and deliver non social care specific training to the wider directorate, to include Cultural, Community, Arts & Museums, leisure etc
